AC Berkheimer

AC Berkheimer formed in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 2005 with vocalists/guitarists Gwendolien and Valentijn, bassist Dagmar, and drummer Remco. Starting out with a sound more or less rooted in shoegaze, the band evolved over the course of the next few years into an aggressive, angular, melancholy affair similar to acts like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mr. Gnome, and Land of Talk. Having snagged a slot on Subroutine's roster on the strength of their 2006 self-released demo, AC Berkheimer released their debut album, In a Series of Long Days, in the summer of 2008. ~ Margaret Reges, Rovi
