Pedro Almodovar

Oscar-winning screenwriter and director Pedro Almodóvar caught plenty of acclaim as well as heat for his bold, risk-taking body of work, and he also composed score material and played a significant role in the music that was featured in those films. In 1997, Captiol subsidiary Metro Blue assembled Songs of Almodóvar, a compilation that anthologized significant songs used in films that ranged from 1982's Labyrinth of Passion to 1993's Kika.
