Amine

French singer Amine stormed the pop charts with a distinctive style he called Rai'n'B -- i.e., a fusion of Algerian rai and American R&B. Born Amine Mounder in Casablanca, Morocco, he vaulted to overnight success in 2005 when his debut single, "Ma Vie," peaked at number 15 on the French charts. At year's end, he also issued his first LP, Au Delà des Rêves.
