Together with his band the New Black Eagles, featuring Biggie Phiri, John Shivere, Daniel Zande, and Joe Mutesva, Robson Banda introduced a new, dance-inspiring, sound that mixed the up-tempo rhythms of jit and more intimate chimurenga music.
