The Blue Note 7

In honor of its 70th anniversary, storied jazz label Blue Note Records formed the seven-member ensemble the Blue Note 7 to record an album and tour. Included in the ensemble are pianist Bill Charlap, saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, trumpeter Nicholas Payton, saxophonist Steve Wilson, guitarist Peter Bernstein, bassist Peter Washington, and drummer Lewis Nash. Featuring arrangements by various bandmembers, the ensemble plays the music of Blue Note Records exclusively.
