Champion Kickboxer

The British rock quartet Champion Kickboxer was formed in Sheffield by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Bates, keyboardist/guitarist/singer Sam Marsh, bassist/singer Sam Bunn, and drummer/singer Neil Piper. Signed to the independent label Thee Sheffield Phonographic Corporation (aka Thee SPC), they released the single "Supertram"/"Like Him + Her + Her + Me" in June 2004. Their album Perforations followed in May 2006. On October 16, 2007, the American independent label 54°40' or Fight! released a version of the album that added the two earlier singles tracks as a bonus. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
