Full Biography

  1. After achieving no small amount of fame as the powerhouse drummer behind Twisted Sister, drummer A.J. Pero quit the sick motherf**kers in 1985 to return to the very band he'd abandoned to join them: New York City underground favorites Cities. Reconnecting with vocalist Ron Angell, guitarist Steeve Mironovich and bassist Mayne, he picked up right where they'd left off with the recording of the following year's Annihilation Absolute album, which they released through Metal Blade. Unfortunately for all involved, Cities' original, less than promising career prospects also picked up right where they'd left off, and, following a few years of undistinguished service in the cause of metal, the band once again disbanded, with Pero eventually reuniting with Twisted Sister, on occasion. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
