Chilean pop singer Douglas started getting involved in music at the age of 18, having the opportunity to get into show business in 1993 by participating in a music contest called Generación 93 at local TV show Venga Conmigo. After signing up to Sony Music, his debut album, called Cariño Malo, was released, followed by Sigo Romántico, issued in April of 1999.
