By the year 1980, noted Washington, D.C., musician Evan Johns had formed the H Bombs and released their first album. Their popularity swiftly grew and before they knew it, they were sharing stages with the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis and the Ramones. Johns moved to Texas in 1984, and shortly thereafter, the band moved to Austin to join him and reunite.
