Gunnar Nelson continues the inspiring 100-year story of America's most remarkable show business family. His grandparents, bandleader Ozzie and actress Harriet Nelson, achieved immortality with "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," television's longest-running sitcom. His father, Rick Nelson, emerged from the series' popularity to establish himself as one of the most important rock artists of the '50s and '60s- selling over 100 million albums and landing in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So, with Gunnar NELSON's (I Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection, the Nelsons landed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only family to reach number one record status in three successive generations. A singer, songwriter and performer since the age of six, Gunnar has written and performed one Number One and four Top 10 singles, four No. 1 MTV videos, has personally sold 3.5 million records, and performed thousands of shows to millions of fans worldwide. He is a multifaceted, multimedia entertainer and entrepreneur. His record company, Stone Canyon Records, now features NELSON's nine album record catalog, as well as previously unreleased Rick Nelson masters. He's been a VJ for MTV, a host for VH-1, and a co-host of LIFETIME RADIO'S nationally syndicated morning show. His TV and film production company, Grain of Sand, has created and placed a weekly sitcom with Fox and a six hour miniseries with CBS, and continues to aggressively develop Nelson-based programming. His award-winning website www.thenelsonbrothers.com is updated daily, and keeps Gunnar personally and intimately connected to his supporters in 126 countries. Following his concert tour last year with Peter Frampton and Styx, Gunnar and NELSON continues to perform sold-out shows around the globe. He plays seven instruments, writes childrens' books, speaks three languages, races formula cars, knows how to cook, can make you laugh... and most important of all: like all Nelsons before him, HE LOVES PEOPLE.
