After hearing the fresh, upbeat and addicting sounds of Nemesis, it becomes difficult to believe that the band's two members were born and raised in Montana as sheltered Jehovah Witnesses. However, the identical twin brothers who comprise pop/rock band Nemesis, Jacob and Joshua Miller, have found their way from the North Mountains to Hollywood, bringing their talent and chart toping singles with them. Jacob and Joshua fell in love with music and performing at the young age of five. Although they grew up in a conservative home-town environment riding horses and dirt bikes, singing was always their true passion. One stormy Montana day, shortly after the twins graduated from high school, Jacob and Joshua packed up the car, ignored their parents' wishes, and left to pursue their music in Nashville, TN. Their impulsive decision worked in their favor as their talents were noticed almost immediately, and Jacob and Joshua signed a record deal with Curb Records, the largest independent label in America and home to LeAnn Rimes, Tim McGraw and Wynonna Judd. In addition to their drive and focus in their music, the multi-layered twins are the subjects of an original reality series called Jacob and Joshua: Nemesis Rising, set to premiere in October on Logo - the nation's leading channel and source of entertainment for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender audience. The ground-breaking series chronicles the twins as they attempt to make it in the cutthroat music industry and, at the same time, come out publicly about their sexual orientation. "Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising proves living a dream and being true to one's self are not mutually exclusive," said Brian Graden, President, MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment, and President, Logo. Jacob and Joshua are currently living in Hollywood and working in the studio with Michael Llyod and Desmond Child on their upcoming album. Nemesis is managed by Garry C. Kief, President, STILETTO Entertainment.
