Shit Browne

A French indie rock band with a Madchester-influenced style, Shit Browne made their album debut with Every Single Penny Will Be Reinvested in the Party in 2010. Based in Paris, the band is a quintet comprised of Sebi Browne, Benjamin Browne, Denis Browne, Jr., and Hadrien Browne. Vocalist Sebi and bassist Benjamin are brothers who originally hail from Dijon, France. Influenced by the Madchester style of post-acid house British rock associated with Manchester bands like New Order, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, and Primal Scream, Shit Browne made their commercial recording debut with the DMD single in 2008 on the Asphalt Duchess label. The Sweetback single followed on the same label in 2009.
