2 Litre Dolby's pop of dry, hypnotic noise first debuted in 1996 upon the collaboration of Leo Mullins (vocals/ bass), Leif Svensson (guitar) and Craig Peade (drums). With an additional influence of Sonic Youth and Guided by Voices in which the trio imports to their home of Melbourne, Australia, Blind Records first captured their sound on the 1998 single "Fist Fit" b/w "Wrong Compass."
