Nu-boy band Varsity Fanclub make dance-oriented pop and R&B influenced by such icons of the genre as Boyz II Men, the Jackson 5, and Backstreet Boys. Formed around 2006 out of a rigorous audition process, Varsity Fanclub feature the talents of vocalist/dancers Thomas Fiss, Jayk Purdy, Drew Ryan Scott, Bobby Edner, and David Lei Brandt. The group has posted several tracks on its MySpace page, including the band's debut single, the Ryan Tedder-penned "Future Love."
