Yohany started her career at the tender age of four, learning to sing and dance to prep for her showbiz ambitions. She eventually began performing soul, R&B, and Latin pop, and shopped her debut single to Durmar Records, which released "Descontrolate" in the summer of 2002. Her self-titled full-length appeared later that year and "Descontrolate" was nominated for Dance Maxi-Single of the year at the 2003 Latin Billboard Awards. In 2004 the singer signed with Covert Entertainment and released her sophomore effort, All That I Want. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
