Godsmack will rouse fans with a hard-rock wake-up call on a tour kicking off February 26 in Durham, New Hampshire.
The Boston foursome announced the first six dates of its Wake the F--- Up tour; more dates will be announced soon, according
to the band's spokesperson.
Godsmack are promoting their second album, Awake, which was released on Halloween last year and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. "Greed," the second single from the album, will hit radio and video outlets later this month. The band's self-titled 1998 debut was recently certified triple-platinum.
Tickets for five of the six shows go on sale Saturday. Tickets for the March 2 show in Worcester, Massachusetts, went on sale last month and are sold out.
Godsmack, who are set to release an as-yet-untitled home video in March, spent much of last year on the road, playing such high-profile tours as Ozzfest, MTV's Return of the Rock tour with Stone Temple Pilots and Disturbed, and the Anger Management tour with Limp Bizkit and Eminem.
