same venue they played last year, the Hot Pants Club at Mr. T's Bowl in Los Angeles.

Also on the bill is Kim Deal's former bandmate in the Pixies, David Lovering, performing as David Lovering's Science Project. Trailer Park Casanovas, featuring El Vez singing bluegrass, will also play the all-day event, along with a dozen other Los Angeles locals.

The Breeders played an unannounced show at Mr. T's late last year, boasting a revamped lineup that in addition to the Deal twins included drummer Jose Medeles of 22 Jacks as well as guitarist Richard Presley and bassist Mondo Lopez of Fear.

According to the show's promoter, Sash Hedrick, Kelley Deal confirmed the band's participation almost immediately after he contacted her and also offered to donate signed items for the show's raffle, including T-shirts, CDs, wireless phones, drums and a Wet Dog, which is the trade name for Deal's own handmade wool bags. Deal, on the Wet Dog page of her Web site, confesses to becoming an obsessive knitter while battling her well-documented drug problems.

The Breeders will head into the studio with producer Steve Albini in May, Hedrick said.

Children of the Night is devoted to helping teenage runaways with food, shelter, clothes, employment and other needs.
