"It's a Great Day to Be Alive" by Travis Tritt rises to #4, and "If My Heart Had Wings" by Faith Hill remains at #5. Tim McGraw's "Grown Men Don't Cry" rises to #13 in its second week. Debuting are "When I Think About Angels" by Jamie O'Neal at #45, "While You Loved Me" by Rascal Flatts at #48, "What I Really Meant to Say" by Cyndi Thomson at #53, "Angels in Waiting" by Tammy Cochran at #56 and "I Want You Bad" by Charlie Robison at #58.
"Mrs. Steven Rudy" by Mark McGuinn makes chart history as it rises to #19 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. McGuinn, according to Billboard, is the first new artist to take an independent label debut single into the top 20 since 1983's "Atlanta Burned Again Last Night" by the group Atlanta.
"Mrs. Steven Rudy" climbs to #7 on the Billboard Top Country Singles Sales chart, where LeAnn Rimes' "But I Do Love You/Can't Fight the Moonlight" and Trick Pony's "Pour Me" remain #1 and #2, respectively. Robison's "I Want You Bad" debuts at #13.
The "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack holds onto the top spot in the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and the "Coyote Ugly" soundtrack and Jessica Andrews' Who I Am remain #2 and #3. Tim McGraw's Greatest Hits is at #4, and Faith Hill's Breathe is at #5.
Trick Pony's self-titled first album debuts at #12 and Delbert McClinton's Nothing Personal lands at #20 in its first week.
