Leading the charge for an unusually rock-heavy top 10, Staind will once again hold the #1 spot on next week's Billboard 200 albums chart.
Last week the band moved more than 326,000 copies of their new album, Break the Cycle, according
to SoundScan data released Wednesday (June 6).
Destiny's Child's Survivor, meanwhile, will move from #3 to #2, while the "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack, with its hit cover of "Lady Marmalade," will jump from #8 to #3. Tool's Lateralus will drop from #2 to #4.
While the week was relatively light on debuts, the chart will have more than its share of significant movement.
The "Pearl Harbor" soundtrack, which boasts the Faith Hill hit "There You'll Be," launched a sneak attack on the chart after debuting at #31, it will barnstorm its way to #14 next week.
Shaggy's hit-packed Hotshot will leap from #21 to #11 after 43 weeks on the chart, while Train will move from #13 to #10 with Drops of Jupiter.
In its 28th week on the chart, the Backstreet Boys' Black & Blue newly visible thanks to the single "More Than That" and an impending tour will fly from #110 all the way to #73.
After debuting at #11, Static-X's Machine will fall precipitously next week, to #33.
Hot young country singer Brad Paisley will have the week's highest debut when his Part II lands at #31. He'll be followed closely by the soundtrack to the Danny DeVito/Martin Lawrence comedy, "What's the Worst That Could Happen?," which includes music from Snoop Dogg.
Singer/songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will debut at #52 with Time*Sex*Love, while French electronic-pop act Air will slide in at #88 with 10,000 Hz Legend.
The rest of Billboard's top 10 will include Now That's What I Call Music! 6 at #5, Missy Elliott's Miss E ... So Addictive at #6, Janet Jackson's All for You at #7, Redman's Malpractice at #8 and Weezer (The Green Album) at #9.
