SANTA MONICA, California — P. Diddy better make some space in his producer's booth when Dream return to the studio this fall.
"We want to write a lot on this album and produce," Melissa Schuman said Tuesday. "We got a taste of
that on our last album a little bit, but we're gonna take advantage of it this time."
After bringing the "TRL" tour to a close next week along with road partners Destiny's Child and Eve, Dream's first priority is to get some much-needed rest to prepare for the job ahead. "We're gonna slow down a little," Holly Arnstein said.
The girls' recording plans don't mean they're done mining their debut, It Was All a Dream, released in January. The quartet plans to shoot a video for the album's latest single, "In My Dreams," in the coming weeks.
Dream were up for two awards at Tuesday night's Soul Train Lady of Soul awards but went home empty-handed after turning in a performance of "He Loves U Not" (see "Aaliyah's Absence Felt At Lady Of Soul Awards").
