Dawn Richard is working with Diddy on his latest project, Last Train to Paris. And now comes word that Shannon Bex is back to making music again. But, this time she's going a little bit country.

According to The Tennessean, Bex has been in Nashville working on some new material, and this time around, she won't be making music the Danity Kane way. "I'm just working on kind of finding my solo sound," Bex said. "I have been with a group for an amazing five years, and you know, it kind of happens, things move on. I want to do it right, though. I'm not jumping into anything."

Instead of looking to Diddy for musical direction, Bex said these days she's looking more toward the work of Garth Brooks for inspiration. "He's such an honest performer," she said. "I went to his concert for the first time ever, and I was in the 300 level, but it felt like he was performing right to me."

After breaking up earlier this year, the members of Danity Kane appeared together again on the season-three finale of "Making the Band 4." But it doesn't look like there will be an actual DK reunion anytime soon.

"I think, at this point in time, no, not yet," Bex said in April about any reunion plans. "But maybe one day we can come back together."
