"Gossip Girl" fans have already heard the stars divulge details about Lady Gaga's November cameo on the show, and now a photo has been released of the singer on the set with Leighton Meester and Penn
Badgley.
Gaga is seen standing between the co-stars with her hair in big, full curls. She's wearing a red dress with an embellished sequined skirt and tape over her chest. Her makeup is theatrical, with heavy-set smoky eyes, lots of blush and full red lips. It certainly fits with Meester's earlier description that her appearance borderlines on the "avant garde" and is "kind of gothic."
"She's pretty cool, so it was very fun," Meester added. "She just makes a cameo performance, and we talk about her for awhile. We all have a story line where we put on a cabaret with her songs. You'll have to wait and see."
Badgley had joked that Gaga's part would involve her in some messy love games. But of course he was only kidding about her being in that threesome. "Yeah, she's a part of the threesome — I'm kidding," he said. "I don't want to give away too much, but she will perform a little bit. And it is involved in my story line."
Unfortunately, their co-star Michelle Trachtenberg missed out on all the Gaga fun. She wasn't on the set the day she shot her part, but like everyone else she can't wait to see it. "She performed on the show, so that's pretty fantastic 'cause I'm a huge Gaga fan," she said. "I was not there. ... I missed out on Gaga."
