The comedian has exhibited unusually erratic behavior in the past year, beginning with a string of puzzling public appearances, before Williams was admitted to a psych ward in South Carolina last November. Prior to his hospitalization, Williams was arrested on gun charges in New York and then performed at Carnegie Hall hours later. He also missed scheduled hosting duties at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards and an appearance on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." A representative at the time cited Williams' schedule as a reason for his behavior, saying the comedian was fatigued. Contacted by MTV News on Monday, that same rep said she no longer represents Williams. This report is from MTV News. |
