The first-ever soundtrack to a comic book, Songs of the Witchblade,
is scheduled to hit stores Sept. 8, featuring performances by
Babes in Toyland, Skinny Puppy's Dave "Rave" Ogilvie,
Megadeth, Arto Lindsay,
Lydia Lunch, former
Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna, the Melvins' King
Buzzo and Type O Negative's Peter Steele. Playwright-actor Eric
Bogosian ("Talk Radio") acts as the soundtrack's narrator. Produced by Ogilvie
and Babes in Toyland frontwoman Kat Bjelland, the DreamWorks Records
release is the soundtrack to Top Cow Productions' comic book "The
Witchblade," which consistently ranks in the comics top 10.
