Palmer Releases World Music LP

Pop singer Robert Palmer, best known for his 1985 hit "Addicted to Love," has just released a 14-track career retrospective entitled Woke Up Laughing: Adventures in Tropical Music, which traces the singer's passion for world music.

The 20-year retrospective incorporates previously released Palmer recordings of songs such as "Chance" and "Pride" with alternate, remixed and new versions of his work. The album's title track morphs two different versions of the song recorded 10 years apart.
