The reunited original lineup of '70s hard-rock band Bad Company
will tour arenas this summer. They're passing up the summer amphitheater
circuit because, "We only want to play indoors," drummer Simon Kirke
said. The tour is
tentatively set to kick off June 23 in Winston-Salem,
N.C., but first the band will play warmup dates May 16 in Clearwater,
Fla., and May 18 in Pompano Beach, Fla. On May 21, they'll do a
pay-per-view concert aired live from the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando, Fla.
Kirke said the band is looking for a "young and edgy act" to open the
tour.
