Amy Winehouse is facing possible legal action from the organizers of Paris’ Rock En Seine music festival after pulling out two hours before the headlining gig on Friday. The singer claims it was due to illness, but not even a note from her mum will get her out of this trouble. The organizers of the three-day festival were not pleased with her last-minute cancellation and have decided to “start legal proceedings.” But legal woes are the least of her problems.
According to reports by UK’s Sun newspaper the British songstress might be suffering from brain damage. According to one of Amy’s friends “the future is bleak, bleak, bleak.” The friend also stated that the 24-year-old allegedly smoked so much marijuana and hashish during a 36-hour period that she went into convulsions. Winehouse reportedly suffered two overdoses in the past year and doctors fear that her body can’t handle another one. She is scheduled to appear next at England’s Bestival Festival on the Isle of Wight this Saturday. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that the talented and tragic performer will make it.
