T.I. Is Very Sorry He Fell For That Undercover Gun Sting

by Anthony Miccio

T.I.—when not performing at the VMAs, filming the movie Bone Deep and promoting his new album—has spent much of the year under police supervision, traveling around the U.S. to speak to schoolchildren as part of his plea bargain for stockpiling illegal weapons. Clearly, the months before his upcoming one-year jail term have given him time to reflect on his misdeeds.

I had a feeling in the back of my mind that something wasn’t right…They weren’t talking right. But I thought I was above situations like that. I was on some ‘Nah, that can’t happen to me’ shit.

That’s just great, T.I. If anyone gets kids to stay on the straight and narrow, it will be a guy who got rich off tales of the crack trade and regrets getting caught buying illegal arms. Sure, glamorizing crime got T.I. fame, fortune, movie deals, venture capital—but you should totally work at McDonalds rather than sell drugs, cuz you’re going to be happier than poor old T.I. with his ill-gained millions.
