How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof (you might know them better as Willow and Wesley from Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) have announced they’re expecting a baby. The kid, their first after five years of marriage, is due in the spring.
While fans of the classic vampire show will rejoice, it’s How I Met Your Mother that will actually be affected. Will Hannigan hide her excess luggage behind pillows, or will they incorporate her bump into the show? Her character married Jason Segel‘s at the end of the ’06-’07 season, so a pregnancy subplot wouldn’t be unbelievable for this one. It’s not like a baby would hurt the ratings.
