Those strippers over at the Body Shop are smokin’ hot – literally! Luckily none of the exotic dancers at the famous Hollywood, CA strip joint had to stop mid-lapdance to stop, drop, and roll when a fire broke out early this morning.
The fire was reported at 6:46 this morning, hours after the club had closed for the night, and luckily was out by 7:43 am and resulted in no injuries and just scratches and cuts on two brave firefighters.
“About 40 firefighters were battling the blaze,” said Art Marrujo, a dispatch supervisor with Los Angeles County Fire. Television helicopters showed flames flaring through the roof. Firefighters said they didn’t know what caused the fire. “It’s too early to know,” Marrujo said.
Motley Crue sang the praises of the Body Shop when they mentioned it in their 1987 hit “Girls, Girls, Girls” and complimented their “Long Legs and Burgundy Lips, Dancin Down on the Sunset Strip” and “Red Lips, Fingertips.”
