Although everyone around you can’t stop singing, “I’m like the ringleader, I call the shots. I’m like a firecracker, I make it hot!” some people are not so hot on Britney Spears‘ new Circus. PETA is angry at the pop star for using “cruelly trained lions and elephants” in her video, “even after [they] wrote to her and explained in graphic detail how trainers shock, whip, and beat exotic animals into performing.”
The animal rights group claims that the trainer Britney used in her video “has been cited repeatedly …for failing to comply with the animal welfare act.”
