Could Carrie Be Killed Off In Sex And The City Sequel?

by Matt Muro

It’s been on the cards for a while now, but is now confirmed that Sex and the City will return for another totally unnecessary milking of a once-iconic brand sequel. Much as we enjoy a bit of Samantha, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte ourselves, the first movie seemed to take their plotlines as far as they could conceiveably go, so what’s on the cards for 2? Why, killing someone off of course! According to the Sun, one character is set to bite the dust, but “it’d be impractical to bump off Carrie,” apparently.

Really? We dissent. Samantha: deliciously saucy cougar with loads of life in her yet. Miranda: realistically loved-up family and Steve would be gutted, no? Charlotte: hey, she’s got two girls and a cuddly bald guy to look after. Carrie? Shrieking lady-girl with increasingly preposterous wardrobe and commitment-phobe husband. She’s easily the most expendable. Now, let’s stop speculating on the future of fictitious characters and go back to hating on real celebrities. [Photo: WireImage]
