Sing it with me: “All the women who are independent – throw your hands up at me!” Kelly Rowland, long known as a member of Destiny’s Child/Beyonce‘s shadow has dumped her manager, who just happens to be Beyonce’s dad, Mathew. Rumors of the split surfaced online last night, and just moments ago both parties confirmed that they were parting ways. Here’s the official word from Kelly’s camp:
“Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career. I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny’s Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family.”
