In her long and storied career as a professional singer, Joanna Pacitti has made a lot of friends in the entertainment industry. Two she thanked in the liner notes of her 2006 album, This Crazy Life, were Michelle Young (“my manager…my best friend”) and Roger Widynowski (“[you] helped me get where I am today”). Today Young and Widynowski are execs for 19 Entertainment, the company that created American Idol and manages the careers of countless Idol contestants. Wait a second…Joanna Pacitti is an American Idol contestant right now! What a coincidence!
According to Star Magazine, the trio even lived in the same LA apartment complex for several years. Do you think they were surprised that she flew to Louisville, Kentucky to audition for the show they work on? Who knows, maybe she’ll do well, sign to 19 Entertainment, and use the attention to take yet another crack at stardom. Then they could all work together again! Cause they’re not already working together, right? She’s not a plant or anything. Right?
