Farrah Fawcett‘s health is supposedly deteriorating quickly, as cancer continues to ravage her body. The Charlie’s Angels star has been battling anal cancer for two years and a half, and she’s documented her struggle in a new documentary airing on NBC this month. Recently, she has stopped all treatment due to the disease spreading into her liver. “She stays in bed now,” reveals her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal. “The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended.”
Radar Online reports that her 91-year-old father is flying to Los Angeles to be with his daughter, and her son Redmond, who is currently in jail on drug charges, was permitted to spend three hours with his mom on April 25th. In the documentary, which Farrah filmed herself, her son is seen “climbing into his sleeping mother’s bed and crying.”
This quote from O’Neal only makes this story that much more heartbreaking. “A week ago Farrah said to me, ‘Am I going to make it?’” he tells People. “I said, ‘Yes, you’ll make it. And if you don’t, I’ll go with you.’” [Photo: WireImage]
