Paris Hilton is the “single busiest person” on the planet, apparently, who earns $11m a year for her troubles but can’t actually keep a diary or look at a phone bill, according to a new court case. Â She’s being sued by the makers of her dreadful 2006 movie Pledge This! for not promoting it adequately — and her and her lawyer’s defense makes hilarious reading.
- On what her responsibilities were as executive producer: “I’m not sure what a producer does, but… I don’t know, help get cool people in the cast.”
- On being shown her cellphone bill: “I’ve never seen a phone bill of mine in my life.”
- On how she keeps her appointments diary: “I just press my name and Google it and see.”
- On how she did actually try to promote the movie: “If I was doing something for another product…I would just bring it up, ‘Oh, my new sorority film, it’s going to be sexy, it’s going to be really hot girls’-like I really, you know, did my best.”
But of course, this sub-normal levels of basic intelligence and straightforward idiocy is just an act, isn’t it, Paris? You’ve told us often enough.
