Fans of nudity (that’ll be everyone, then), you won’t have long to wait. Vanessa Hudgens has said she will take her clothes off for a role in the future. The High School Musical star has already had a taste of naked controversy when some risqué photos of her sent to BF Zac Efron were leaked to the media a couple years back. But this hasn’t put her off.
“I will show nudity in a film when the time is right. Right now, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time’s right, if it’s an amazing movie that I’m really passionate about and that’s what it calls for, then we’ll see,” she said.
While we understand why she wouldn’t want to limit herself for any roles in the future — and stripping off has hardly done the likes of Kate Winslet any harm — we find it kind of depressing and predictable that starlets wanting to be taken seriously as actors think they can only do it by flashing the flesh in an “arty” way.
