Susan Boyle‘s fifteen minutes of fame have taken an ugly turn. The singer – who became an international internet sensation thanks to her performance on “Britain’s Got Talent” – has reportedly been suffering from stress due to her second-runner up stint on the show. Her problems apparently escalated into a full-on emotional breakdown this weekend, and the 48-year-old was rushed to The Priory Clinic in London to receive care for her “exhaustion.”
A source at the hotel where Susan was staying said that the Scottish native had been acting odd since coming in second on the hit reality show Saturday night. “The staff were concerned – something wasn’t right,” revealed the insider. “When the paramedics and police arrived she agreed to go voluntarily. She didn’t make a fuss. The paramedics calmly took her out through the main lobby and into the waiting ambulance.”
We hope Susan gets the rest and relief she needs, and trust that this breakdown is just her completing a little rite of passage in the life of a successful performer. If Mariah Carey can lose it and bounce back, surely so can our gal Sue. [FoxNews. Photo: GettyImages]
