As we mentioned yesterday, the E! Network polled its viewers on the topic of whether or not Spencer and Heidi Pratt should receive any more airtime on the channel, and viewers (a whopping 94%) voted to banish all mentions of the couple from E! programming. The people have spoken! America has become sensible! Hoo-rah!
E! News Live reported that, barring any major newsworthy shakeups, they will not be reporting on the Pratts at all, thus becoming a “Speidi-Free Zone.” We’re still not sure if this means The Soup isn’t allowed to show clips of The Hills though, does mocking them count as “reporting”? While the actions of one network don’t necessarily mean the end of the road for Speidi, it seems like the backlash against them is gaining speed by the day. [Photo: Getty Images]
