Michael Jackson‘s death was caused by a lethal overdose of the sedative drug Propofol, according to a coroner’s report, which means it is now being treated as homicide. Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray, who is at the center of police’s investigations into the superstar’s June death, has admitted administering a number of drugs to help Jackson sleep on the night he died.
In a sworn affidavit, Murray states that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for six weeks prior, and had developed a concern that the singer was becoming addicted to Propofol, calling it his “milk.” On the night in question, Murray reduced the dose and added the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam – the timeline of events can be found here.
