Poor Lily Allen reckons she’s finding it hard to get a guy, after slating mens’ poor bedroom performances in her songs. (However, we haven’t noticed Lily go lonely recently…). The singer tells the new issue of UK Elle magazine – along with a cool photo-shoot by Rankin – that her song ‘It’s Not Fair’ has frightened off potential suitors.
“The thought never occurred to me that it would scare men. But guys are like: ‘Whoa, no, I’m not sleeping with you in case you write something about it,’” she says.
Well, we think lyrics like, “When we go up to bed you’re just not good it’s such a shame/I look into your eyes I want to get to know you/And then you make this noise and it’s apparent it’s all over… You never make me scream,” are pretty conclusive, no? Lily’s new beau Sam Cooper has got to be one confident guy in that arena. [Photo: Getty Images Entertainment]
