It sucks being a target of the paparazzi, but usually if tension escalates, celebrities just throw a punch or try to grab the camera; there’s not normally gunplay involved. But if you’re Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen and you have an overzealous bodyguard, that’s exactly what happens.
The couple tried to celebrate their nuptials in April at Bunchen’s home in Costa Rica, far from the prying eyes of pretty much everyone, but a couple of paps did some sneaking around on Gisele’s neighbor’s property to snap some photos of the event. When the hot couple’s bodyguards caught wind of them, they demanded the cameras and memory cards and later decided it would be a good idea to fire a few rounds at the photographers. Yikes.
Now the paparazzi is suing Tom and Gisele for over $1 million in damages, claiming that they were given permission by Gisele’s neighbor to take the photos. Not the most solid defense, but also not something worth being shot at for, we think, and certainly not the best way to cap off a wedding day. [Photo: GettyImages]
