Less than a week after Joe Jackson slammed This Is It as a cheap cash-in (“the media is going to tear this movie apart”), the Chicago Sun-Times has learned that Michael Jackson‘s estranged father will receive $250,000 to introduce several screenings of the rehearsal film in London, sharing stories about his late son—who just happened to leave Joe out of his will.

Folks who want to watch Michael’s last performance with the father who allegedly abused him don’t have to leave the US to do so: for only $3,000, you can score a VIP pass to eat dinner, watch the film (with complimentary soda and popcorn!) and enjoy a nightcap with dear old dad. The pass also comes with a complimentary hotel room at the Palms Casino, the magazine Joseph Jackson: Man in the Mirror, Father of the First Family of Music, commemorative VIP credentials and a champagne toast. Guess you can’t call that a cheap cash-in.
