Katt Williams is in police custody after being charged with burglary and criminal trespassing in Newnan, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, late last night. According to police, a homeowner called 911 to report that the comedian—in the area for a film shoot—had “gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence.”
Williams, star of several stand-up specials and films like Friday After Next, was jailed for driving without a license plate last year, and received medical attention for “serious fatigue” around the same time. The comedian is scheduled for arraignment this afternoon. [Photo: Coweta County Sheriff Dept.]
