Lady Gaga and Rihanna each gave eccentric, visually captivating performances at last night’s American Music Awards. Gaga donned nude undergarments, fishnets, and an Alien-esque light-up skeleton. During her performance she gyrated, smashed glass, set a piano on fire, and broke bottles, all while delivering stellar vocals on “Bad Romance” and “Speechless.” Rihanna made one helluva comeback in a white-banded bodysuit with a laser-emitting bolero, and a “Rated R” chest tattoo.
