Rihanna shot her video for “Hard” earlier this month, and we already have our hands on a 30-second sneak peek. Talking to MTV News, Rihanna described the video as “couture-military.” Now we know why. With machine gun in hand, she commands a troop of soldiers while wearing a futuristic white top, black shorts (or are those panties?), and combat boots. Considering the song’s lyrics (“I see you aiming at my pedestal, I betta let ya’ know that I’m so hard”), we’re guessing that Rihanna is firing a warning shot with this video. Potential competitors: Don’t even try!
Not only will “Hard” have its world premiere exclusively on VH1, MTV and The FABlife on Thursday, December 17, at 4PM EST, but Rihanna will also be here to chat with fans. Don’t miss it.
