Brittany Murphy, who died on Sunday of cardiac arrest, was apparently suffering from some sort of illness before she passed away. TMZ – the Woodward and Bernstein of celebrity death journalism – reports that the actress had been dealing with flu-like symptoms in the days leading up to her death, and she was apparently vomiting in the shower the morning she died. Adds a source, “There were a lot … a lot of prescriptions in the house.”
Brittany’s mom also apparently told EMTs on the scene that her daughter had diabetes. An autopsy will be performed early this week and may reveal the cause of death.
