Though keeping a low profile since being dumped by Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted having a blast in NYC last night at an event for God’s Love We Deliver, an HIV/AIDS charity. “Jake hung out with the guys all night,” a source told E!. “He seemed in good spirits. He and Matt Dillon chatted for a good portion of the night and were laughing at each other’s stories.” Matt Dillon, the notorious bachelor-for-life? Looks like Jake’s rebound should be right around the corner.
Less thrillingly, the site claims Reese will be spending the holiday on a ski vacation with her kiddies. Hopefully Dillon can keep his broken-hearted bro from dwelling too long on such a picturesque scene. Though with Jake’s Prince Of Persia abs, we’re sure there will be plenty of willing distractions this holiday season.
