Kim Kardashian’s Twitter doesn’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 per day, and when that money-making diva bashes someone, she packs a mean punch! Kim is being sued by Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet after the reality star tweeted that their diet program is “unhealthy.” It all started when Kim fired off a cease and desist letter to the cookie maker accusing them of falsely claiming that she was endorsing their brand, followed by the “commercially motivated” tweet. The people at Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet maintain that Kim made “false claims” about their diet because she is a spokesperson for another diet program, Quick Trim.
Matthew Siegal, CEO of Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet, said, “We received a letter a week ago asking us to remove a link to a news story (that we did not write) on our website that implied she was using and endorsing our product. And although we did this we discovered that more than a month before, she had made her comments on Twitter claiming our product was “unhealthy” while somebody also leaked a letter from her lawyers to our company to a celebrity website.”
Matthew concludes by suggesting that Kim “should act more responsibly and not say false statements about our brand.” Give Kim a break! She just got peed on! [Source: Radar Online; Photo: Getty Images]
