Brooke Mueller was reunited with husband Charlie Sheen yesterday for the first time since she had the Two And A Half Men star arrested for allegedly threatening her with a knife over Christmas weekend. The couple returned to Aspen separately last weekend to have his restraining order modified. “I can tell you, Brooke very badly wanted to have contact with Charlie,” said her lawyer, Yale Galanter. “There are many children’s issues that she wanted to communicate with him about.” Though Sheen visited his wife when she was hospitalized with pneumonia in LA last month, he was legally restricted from communicating with her and still faces felony assault charges. “Brooke would like this case to be over and charges dismissed so they can get on with their lives,” said Galanter.
While the couple left in separate vehicles after hugging in court, Radar claims the pair took a private airplane back to California together later that day. “Charlie and Brooke stood outside on the tarmac and seemed to be deeply involved in a heart-to-heart conversation, all the while smoking cigarettes,” said their alleged eyewitness. “They were clearly relieved to be back in each other’s company and even shared a joke or two.” Sheen, who has yet to give his plea, will return to Aspen for another court date next month.
